The pursuit of why : reporting for accuracy in narrative / Priya Ratneshwar. [2006].

This journalism master's project includes a professional work component and an analysis component. For the professional work component, the author wrote a series of narrative articles for Mosaics, the alumni magazine for the MU School of Arts and Science from mid-August 2006 through November 2006. Field notes and samples of work are included. In the analysis component the author examines, through interviews with writer, editor and sources of the narrative story of the suicide of Al Kerth, how reporting techniques impact narrative accuracy.
